Bound in cloth, rebacked in leather with the original spine laid on, with gilt decoration and title. Blind stamped boards.Condition fair: Restored. Original spine dulled and gilt faded. Inside soiling to colour plate, foxing, smudging and tidemarks throughout. The spine is very stiff, which makes it difficult to open the book fully.The American minister Fitch Waterman Taylor (1803 1865) received the appointment of Chaplain in the U. S.
