Paul Fürst from Franconia is one of Germany’s most renowned red wine producers. This icon of red Spätburgunder has set an entirely new standard of quality. His elegant Pinot Noir wines bear a unique signature, beautifully blending subtle finesse with a distinct expression of the vineyard's character. The vineyards of the northern Franconia wine region are situated largely along the banks of the Main River, which winds through the landscape in the shape of a large 'W'. The far western part of the region comprises the area known as the *Mainviereck*, where red winemaking is a centuries-old tradition.
