De Chinese artist Zhuang Hong Yi came in 1992 (Chinese Cultural Revolution) to The Netherlands. He lived with his familie first in Groningen and moved later to Dordrecht and The Hague. These days Zhuang Hong Yi lives half in Switzerland and half in Beijing. Already in 2000 Zhuang Hong Yi had his first solo-exhibition in the famous Groningermuseum. His second, even more succesvoller, solo was in 2006. Zhuang Hong Hi became one of the leading international artist because of his successful series'Flowers' which he started with in 2006.
