Nice 100% WW2 Issue early war wool shirt with gas flap (which is always missing as it was seen as cumbersome) as issued to a Sgt of the USAAF with the specialism of aircraft radio operator. Several laundry numbers or letters are stamped in the neck. It has some minor wear due to age, see photo's. It was certainly worn in the field, see photo's, but in nice condition. The usaaf patch is half loose but could easily be fixed with a stitch. The label is washed out but still present. Overall a great shirt - please see attached photo's for an important own impression; they are part of the description. A very nice and 100% original shirt of a typical USAAF aircraft radio operator during WW2!
