Nice 100% original US WWII ARMY enlisted visor cap, a nice large size (see photo's) - nicely named John van Drie, with his name neatly written on a paper that was found inside. He enlisted in 1942 and i assume he has dutch roots given the last name. Made of doeskin wool with a leatherette bill. Good leather chinstrap and sweatband, in a really nice condition still! It even has the as-issued tag inside the cap. The screw back cap insignia makes this cap early war, and this has clearly never been removed (see photo's).These are getting more difficult to find!
