Nice WW2 US Army 8th Armored Division Ike Jacket of a technician 5th grade who served with the 8th armored division aka ''the Thundering Herd''. This unit is famous for its combat during the liberation of France, Germany / Netherlands and especially the Bulge. The jacket is in nicely worn condition and it has a beautiful theathre made 8th armored patch with the rare theatre tab. The initials of the soldier are written in the jacket. He earned a European campaign medal with several campaign stars, an american campaign medal, and good conduct medal. The jacket also has 3 overseas bars attached, indicating he served 1,5 years overseas, fully consistent with the division's history in the ETO.
