Up for auction is a nice EARLY copy of the United States Army Technical Manual TM 30-302 entitled "French Language Guide". It covers many useful French words and phrases as required for the D-day Invasion. This booklet has some black-and-white illustrations to accompany the instructional text; these booklets were issued to the troops just prior to the invasion of France during D-Day, to facilitate interrogation and communication of/between French resistance, French nationals, etc. Nicely used in the field but in nice condition, see photo's as they are part of the description.
