- WW2 US Army Coca Cola Notepad (new)- Rare Coca-Cola Bottler Magazin item from the early 1940's, the April 1943 issue of the Coca-Cola Bottler Magazine. This magazine was published by the Coca-Cola Bottlers Association for a very targeted audience - owners and key managers of local Coca-Cola Bottling Companies. During the first half of the 20th century, most communities were served by a local Coke bottler, typically a family-owned business. By the early 40's, when this magazine was published, the bottlers were usually among the wealthiest and most influential people in town. They supported many local charities. They built beautiful art-deco plants to replace their humble earlier bottling facilities. These magazines are great for those interested in Coke history and are filled with interesting stories about the development of the Coca-Cola system. They contain many excellent photos of Coke bottling plants, trucks, signs, coolers and other items. Each issue contains wonderful ads from vendors trying to sell their Coca-Cola branded wares to the bottlers. These ads are for trucks, plant equipment, signs, and anything you can imagine connected with Coca-Cola. Besides being very collectible themselves, they also provide an excellent guide for dating other Coke collectibles.
