Nice 100% original ike jacket of Technician 5th Grade Mario Erutti (his name is written neatly in his ike jacket tag; the only M erutti that served was mario erurrit) that served in the European Theatre of Operations with the ADSEC (Advance Section of the Communications Zone in the European theatre). He was born in 1905 in Italy and lived in Detroit. He enlisted in 1942. The ike jacket is nicely dated 1944 and given the medal bars, in conjunction with the overseas stripes (3, indicating >1,5 year overseas service), the owner must have seen action in France, Belgium and Germany. The ike jacket is in very nice condition and has a set of originally mounted Riflemen / Infantry Collar discs. The medal bars indicate a an american campaign medal, a european and med campaign medal with one campaign star (indicating he particuipated at least one major European campaigns, for example D-Day or the battle of the bulge) and a very nice sterling Combat Infantrt Badge (it is also sterling marked).
