Exceptional 6th plate Daguerreotype of a beautiful young girl in half leather case. The young woman is posing in a relaxed and natural way, almost smiling, uncommon in those days. Romantic find: by lifting the portrait from the case we discovered a small note holding a piece of hair folded in paper. Size of case is 9.5 x 8.5 cm.
