The London Owl Company - Rare XL 45cm 'The Skier' Owl - 1960s/1970s A highly collectible and rare extra-large (XL) vintage owl figure titled "The Skier", handmade by The London Owl Company in England during the 1960s/1970s.While the standard models measured around 25-30 cm, this impressive display piece stands at 45 cm tall. These larger variants were produced in very limited quantities, often serving as luxury storefront display items for high-end sports and hunting outfitters such as Abercrombie & Fitch. The owl is dressed in its iconic retro one-piece blue and turquoise ski suit (jumpsuit) with a functional front zipper. With white ski poles. The face features the characteristic, beautifully preserved natural feather mask around the glass eyes.
