Respectfully painted by Taicang Lu HongnianLu Hongnian (1914.9-1989.10) was born in Taicang, Jiangsu. In 1932, he was admitted to the Fine Arts Department of Fu Jen University to study Chinese painting and murals. In 1936, he graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Fu Jen University and stayed on as a teaching assistant in the Fine Arts Department. After 1949, he successively served as a lecturer and associate professor in the Department of Chinese Painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
