Chinese porcelain snuff bottle with finely painted floral decoration, Qing Dynasty, Possibly Guangxu period (1875–1908), bearing an apocryphal four-character Yongzheng mark. This refined Chinese porcelain snuff bottle is decorated in delicate famille rose enamels with elegant flowering plants, carefully painted in soft tones and balanced compositions. The floral decoration shows a high level of skill, with fine brushwork and a harmonious use of colour, reflecting late Qing court-inspired aesthetics. The bottle has a well-proportioned flattened form with rounded shoulders and a narrow neck. It is fitted with a green stone stopper mounted with a gilt collar. The stopper is fixed to the bottle, which is often encountered in well-preserved antique snuff bottles. The recessed base bears a red four-character mark in seal script, inspired by Yongzheng reign marks. Height: approximately 5.8 cmWidth: approximately 5.4 cmCondition: very good condition. The porcelain body is intact, with no cracks or restorations. The enamel decoration is well preserved, showing only minor age-related wear consistent with its period. This snuff bottle is an attractive example of late Qing porcelain and would make a fine addition to a collection. The bottle will be carefully packed for shipment.
