The Rolleiflex 2.8F for many people is the holy grail in the TLR world since. It’s regarded as the best looking and best built Rolleiflex in the 2.8 series. A fully mechanical, beautiful looking TLR with an amazing rendering and fast F/2.8 lens. Released in 1960 and a whopping 80.000+ units have been sold. The 2.8F model was produced in various versions which all feature different Carl Zeiss or Schneider lens designs, all with their own slight differences in image charecteristics. Wheter you prefer the Xenotar or Planar is really a personal thing but its sure that they are both excellent performing optics.
