Porsche – 996 Coupe Millennium Edition – 2000

GENERAL INFORMATION: To celebrate the arrival of the new millennium, Porsche created a special version of the 996 Carrera 4 Coupé for model year 2000. Production was deliberately limited to just 911 cars worldwide – an obvious reference to the model that had defined Porsche for decades. The Millennium Edition was considerably more than simply a regular Carrera 4 with a badge. All cars were finished in the special Violet Chromaflair paint and received a carefully selected specification that included the lowered sports chassis, 18-inch wheels, Litronic headlights, sliding sunroof and numerous exclusive interior details. Inside, Porsche used Natural Brown leather together with dark maple wood, aluminium-look instruments and additional leather-covered components to create an interior that was very different from the standard 996. Each car also received its own individually numbered Millennium Edition plaque. This particular example is number 856 of the 911 cars produced. TECHNICAL & MECHANICAL CONDITION: This Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Millennium Edition is powered by the naturally aspirated 3.4-litre flat-six engine producing 300 PS, combined with the desirable 6-speed manual gearbox.
