Polaroid Model 95, the first model of this milestone in our photographic history. This is the first model from 1948 and is the first commercially successful instant camera. Designers had been searching for an instant method since the 1850s, without real practical success. The story goes that Polaroid eyewear manufacturer Dr. Land, overheard his little daughter saying that it took a very long time for the photos to come back from the shop, and that this prompted him to look for a method for an instant camera. Shutter and aperture work, camera in nice condition, with the special spring-loaded viewfinder. Optical viewfinder damaged and back part missing. This camera weighs 2 kg.
