The piece features a glass inset base, a interesting detail of early-20th-century export metalwork from Swatow (modern Shantou), and bears multiple stamped marks including “Kuthing – Swatow.”The handle is engraved with a personal dedication reading:“Voor Ary, van zijn moeder, 20 mei 1946” — “For Ary, from his mother, 20 May 1946”. Indicating that this tankard was presented as a post-war gift, possibly from the Dutch East Indies.Dimensions: Height 13 cm; diameter 8 cm (width with handle 12 cm)Condition: Good; minor lime deposits near the glass base and slight surface discoloration consistent with age and use.Shipping method: The item is securely packed and shipped with insurance without stand or miniature vase.
