Pair of Chinese Porcelain Plates – Famille Rose – Qing Dynasty / Guangxu Period (ca. 1875–1908) A fine and matching pair of Chinese porcelain plates, decorated in the famille rose palette with gilt. The central scene depicts a lady with two children surrounded by vases and auspicious objects, painted in bright enamels. The border richly ornamented with multi-coloured panels in pink, blue, red and gold, containing flowers and symbolic motifs. Reverse with red seal mark and old dealer’s label. Material: Porcelain, famille rose enamels and gilt Diameter: approx. 8,80" or 22.5 cm Condition: Good antique condition, some minor wear to enamels and gilding, no damage or repairs, only in one plate there is a very small, short, light hair, almost invisible, especially not on the from the front, see the last 3 photos.
