Ovation – 1518 Ultra – – Elektro-akoestische gitaar – 1985

This great-sounding 40-year-old vintage Ovation Ultra 1517, made in Korea, plays and sounds amazing. It can also be plugged into an amplifier thanks to the piezo pickup inside the guitar. Volume and tone are easily controlled with the unique two-in-one knob (a feature exclusive to the 1517 models).The guitar has a natural finish, showcasing the beautiful spruce top in all its glory. The neck is made of mahogany with a rosewood fretboard.In addition to a thorough cleaning, the guitar has been restrung and now shines like new.Based on the serial number, the guitar dates from 1985–1986 (serial numbers between 303320 and 356000 were produced during that period), but judging by the position of the volume control, this is most likely a 1985 model.Over the years, the guitar has developed some light wear on the headstock and a small, barely visible finish crack (which is common for these guitars). Aside from these cosmetic details, it is structurally in excellent condition.Only shipped to EU-countries.
