A very rare and surprisingly comprehensive RESTRICTED WW2 produced Handbook of the JAPANESE Forces published by the US Army Command in September 1944 at the height of the heavy combat in the pacific. It deals with Japanese uniforms, WEAPONS, VEHICLES, TANKS, airplanes, halftracks, anti tank guns, etc and beautiful weapon plates. The amount of detail is truly amazing and it is illustrated throughout with several colour plates. It is in used but good condition for its age -the pages are yellowed, as expected, and occasionally a bit damaged. However, this is a rare book that can be easily read still. This would be the most comprehensive JAPANESE Army reference guide at that time. One of the first times we are able to offer this manual for auction. Nicely named to a US officer on the cover.
