Offered for auction is a very nice SILVER(!!) medal of honor attached to the Order of Orange Nassau, given to a female (see the ribbon). This is quite unusual to find, the medal is nicely halmarked with the silver mark and complete with the original box!. The medal of honor was in bronze, silver and gold. The three honorary medals were abolished in 1996 and are no longer awarded. The diameter of the medal is 25 mm. A very nice medal altogether!
