Nice 100% original US WWII ARMY enlisted visor cap, a nice large size (see photo's) - nicely named to a James McDonald, with his service number written on a paper that was found inside. He was wounded in 1944 and enlisted in 1941. Made of doeskin wool with a leatherette bill. Good leather chinstrap and sweatband, in a really nice condition still! It even has the as-issued tag inside the cap. The screw back cap insignia makes this cap early war, and this has clearly never been removed (see photo's). An example of a photo in wear is added as a screenshot to this auction. These are getting more difficult to find!
