A fine and authentic medieval annular brooch cast in copper alloy, dating to approximately the 13th–14th century AD.The brooch features a circular frame decorated with evenly spaced rounded knops, a characteristic design seen in high medieval dress accessories across Northern Europe. The original pin is still present, mounted through the frame, making this a complete and desirable example.Such brooches were commonly used as functional and decorative fasteners for garments such as cloaks and tunics, and were worn by both men and women.The surface displays an attractive natural green patina consistent with age and burial.Condition: Good condition for its age.
