Medaille – US WW2 Bronze Star in orig box with lapel pin – Infantry – written citation – named

Offered for auction is a nice original and not that easy to find (boxed) Bronze Star medal as awarded during WW2. It has the original papers and good conduct medal that were found in the same box; he served 32 months overseas in the meditarraeaen campaign. I have not done more research - this should be done, but he served in the ETO, indicated by the medal bar pins written down on the paper and his written bronze star citation, see photo's. Great 100% original award set of one veteran in good condition for its age; the bronze star has a nice age tarnish! The box is in used condition, see photo's, overall a great set.
