He is considered by some as one of the greatest F 1 drivers of all time.Lauda was seriously injured in a crash at the 1976 GP at the Nürburgring, during which his Ferrari burst into flames, and he came close to death after inhaling hot toxic fumes and suffering severe burns. However, he survived and recovered enough to race again just six weeks later at the Italian Grand Prix and became World Champion again in 1977 and 1984.Here we offer a very nice ‘race used look’ 1984 Niki Lauda recreation replica helmet to honour this fantastic and iconic driver. This later Bell XFM-1 classic helmet has been restored before painting and replaced the worn interior with a complete new one.It’s painted with the red/pink colour, with Marlboro, Parmalat, Boss and Michelin decals for his 3rd world championship livery.
