Shifting away from his underground roots, Max delivers a masterful, clean-line composition inspired by Greek mythology, depicting the fierce and independent huntress Atalanta.​The spectacular composition features Atalanta standing proudly on a rocky, terracotta-hued cliffside overlooking a misty, vast Aegean Sea. Armed with a graceful wooden recurve bow and a quiver full of arrows slung across her back, she wears a flowing white chiton with geometric Greek key patterns tracing the hem. She is joined on the stony precipice by a stark black raven, while the soaring ruined columns of an ancient temple frame the left side of the scene.
