The design has been associated with ideas of colour, structure, and light — themes closely connected to Max Bill’s influential practice rooted in concrete art, mathematics, and modernist design.The Munich 1972 artist poster series remains highly regarded among collectors of modern art, graphic design, and Olympic memorabilia.I acquired this poster together with six others from the same series, along with various German art books, from a painting restorer in The Hague who was clearing out her studio upon retirement.
