In his early life Marko was a talented race car driver, he won the 1971 24h Le Mans in the famous Porsche 917. Due to an accident at the French grand prix were a stone pierced his visor Marko lost his left eye and he had to end his promising racing career and move over to managing and talent spotting.This is a very good recreation of the helmet Helmut Marko used during the 1972 F1 season, its based on a vintage 70’s Shoei helmet and it is in very good condition, it comes with a 1970 SNELL code (so it is approved for high speed motorsports such a F1).
