Helmut Marko 1972 Marlboro BRM helmetHelmut Marko is an Austrian former professional racing driver and current advisor to the Red Bull GmbH Formula One teams, and head of Red Bull's driver development programme. In his early life Marko was a talented race car driver, he won the 1971 24h Le Mans in the famous Porsche 917. Due to an accident at the French grand prix were a stone pierced his visor Marko lost his left eye and he had to end his promising racing career and move over to managing and talent spotting.This is a very good recreation of the helmet Helmut Marko used during the 1972 F1 season, its based on a vintage 70’s Shoei helmet and it is in very good condition, it comes with a 1970 SNELL code (so it is approved for high speed motorsports such a F1).
