Lot of US WW2 books – WW2 US Army Insignia Guide, Named German Phrase book (wounded), – And Going home / discharge instruction book – beautiful plates – 1943-1945
Offered for auction is a nice set of three US Army books from the same soldier; he was wounded iin march 1945 by an artillery shell. His name is nicely stated on the German Phrase book, he likely worn this on him when he was hit, hence the condition (they were supposed to be kept on the person). See attached screenshot from the archive about him. The lot consists;- His German Phrase book (1943)- His US Army Insignia and patch Guide (1943)- His Going home discharge book with many nice plates (1945). See photo's for condition.
