Pascal Mourgue for Ligne Roset – “Le Paresseux” adjustable swivel lounge chair – France, 1990sDescription:Rare “Le Paresseux” adjustable lounge chair, designed by Pascal Mourgue for Ligne Roset, France, circa 1990s.This expressive postmodern design combines generously padded cushions with a distinctive petal-shaped swivel base. The chair can be adjusted from an upright seating position into a comfortable reclining position. It features a swivelling construction, adjustable backrest, integrated leg rest, headrest and adjustable side wings.Upholstered in a soft grey velour-like fabric and supported by a strong internal frame with a lacquered aluminium swivel base.Condition:The chair is in good vintage condition, with light signs of use consistent with its age, including minor marks and natural variations in the upholstery. The chair is fully functional. The swivel, reclining and integrated footrest mechanisms operate correctly. The right-hand adjustable side wing locks into position, but due to a minor issue with its locking mechanism, it should be adjusted carefully. This does not affect the normal use or the main functions of the chair. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.
