Large size WW2 US Willys Jeep First Aid Kit – filled with original contents – no reserve – Militaire uitrusting – 1944

Offered for auction is a very difficult to find US Large size(!) i.e. 24 kit WW2 First Aid Jeep Kit First Aid kit, as used in the famous Willys Jeep. The most beautiful box we have offered so far, complete with a lot of content still. Moreover, what is there is all 100% WW2, no postwar stuff there as is so often the case! This set dates from 1944, given the stock number. The kit is in nice functional condition a beautiful label and almost all paint remaining; all of the boxes are dated or marked STOCK, exactly as it should be for this era of war kit. In order to offer the best possible first response treatment in the event of a crash or injury involving the vehicle or its passengers, the United States Army Medical Department introduced a series of Motor Vehicle First-Aid Kits. These kits were specifically designed for certain vehicles, and this reflected in their contents.
