John Hunter (1728-1793) was a Senior Surgeon to the St George's and St James's Dispensary, Fellow of the Royal Medical and Chirurgical Society of London. There are several issues of the text volumes with varying dates, some are dated 1835, others with 1835 and 1837 on same volumes, others like this set with 1837 on all.
