A set of two silver Georg Jensen Grape candlesticks model no. 264. The candlesticks are made from 925 sterling silver. The Candlesticks with the iconic grape motif have a spiralling stem. The surface of the top and the foot has the characteristic hammering, which Georg Jensen used to soften the reflection of light in the silver to create a moonlight glow. Underneath the small bunches of grape you will see a very delicate pattern of floral design.The candlesticks have the following hallmarks: Denmark, Sterling, 264, R11, S11 and the 'Georg Jensen' hallmark surrounded by 23 beads. This hallmarks shows that the candle sticks are made from 1945 onwards.Height: 29.5cmWeight: 1250 + 1229 = 2479 grams
