Large old and extremely Rare African Tutsi shield, RwandaSize: 67 cm high and 27 cm wide. Following the curve the shield is 78 cm long.This shield is collected in 1943 by an France collector.This Tutsi shield is dated from the first half of the 20th century and comes with a certificate of authenticity.Monoxyl and concave elliptical wooden shield, slightly curved on the middle part and animated by a pyramidal protuberance pigmented with red, white and black. It constitutes the point of symmetry of the decoration engraved in incision and enhanced with black and red.
