Dorien Plaat is born Ghana lived in Venzuela, Sri Lanka,Tanzania,Nigeria and Vietnam. Inspired by people who are mostly unseen and try to position themself in this world, where being succesfull and being 'normal' is a requirement. Exhibitions in Germany, Belgium, Tanzania, The Netherlands. Solo-exhibitions at Jaski Art Gallery,Amsterdam, BMB Gallery, Amsterdam, De Queeste, Belgium, Jonkergouw, Wijk bij Duurstede and many others.
