Dijkstra Lampen – Lamp (2) – Plastic, Metaal, Glas – Rare set of Dijkstra lamp

A set vintage pendant lamps by the Dutch manufacturer Dijkstra, a characteristic design from the Space Age era, 1970s. The lamps have a spherical shade, made of translucent, smoke-brown plastic. This shade is accented by a central band of brushed metal and a matching metal element at the top.The Ditch design creates both direct downward light and a diffuse, warm light through the translucent shade. The overall condition of the lamp is very good, with minimum light scratches here and there consistent with its age. The combination of the dark plastic and cool metal gives the lamp a timeless appearance. The original wiring and ceiling rose are present. These Dijkstra Pendant lamps are an atmospheric addition above a dining table, in a seating area, or as a striking object in a hallway. The design fits seamlessly into an interior with Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, or eclectic influences and adds an authentic piece of Dutch design history to the space.Dims:Height 20cmBottom diameter 16.5cmLxW approx 23cmPictures are part of the description.
