Decoratief ornament – Duitsland

Plywood Elephant by Charles and Ray Eames. Designed in 1945, but never taken in production. In 1946 a prototype was exhibited in the MOMA in New York. In 2007 a limited edition was produced to commemorate the 100th birthday of Charles Eames. This is serial number 610 out of 1000. Comes with certificate of authenticity. Colour: red. The condition is excellent with a tiny, hardly visible indentation on the front (see photo). Dimensions: 41 x 71 x 41 cm.
