Clock & Stopwatch – Heuer – Mastertime – 1960

Up for auction this exclusive Heuer Monte-Carlo “Rally-Master” Vintage Dashboard Chronograph Rally – set with some real Racing pedigree!This particular set was used in the 60’s in a Simca rallycar on international level and was put in a drawer in the 70’s.The set included the 8days Master-Time 8 Days & Monte-Carlo with 2 pushers – early configuration – original dashboard mounting plate E.Heuer (so not the often seen Heuer-Leonidas-version) 11 x 6 cm.Stopwatches diameter 5.5 cm. Mechanical movements with manual winding.Rare combination of clock and chronograph mounted in the 70s in rally cars for regularity races.This set is in used condition but fully functional. The plastic crystal of the Master-Time has a crack in it and both watches lost some lume on the hands. An easy fix to restore if one would prefer that, but my goal was to preserve the rally-heritage of this set to a maximum. Both devices work but since the set didn’t have any service for the last 50 years, we would strongly recommend one.Will be careful packed and send insured
