With only one copy held institutionally and rarely found on the market. Two volumes. Volume I illustrating National Flags and Ensigns, while Volume II illustrates the flags of ministries, and of naval, military and air force officers, as well as standards of rulers, sovereigns, and heads of state. Each volume opens with a brief foreword, and short chapters on the proportions and dimensions of certain British flags, and shades and pattern numbers of Admirability bunting and explanatory chapters on each volume. With one hundred and ninety nine leaves of plates to volume I, and two hundred and thirty leaves of plates in full colour to volume II.
