Chinese Powder Blue Plate with Famille Rose Cartouches – Late Qing / Early Republic Period – 23 cmA fine and decorative Chinese porcelain plate with a deep powder blue (soufflé bleu) ground, richly embellished with gilt decoration and famille rose floral cartouches. The central medallion and the surrounding cartouches are painted with delicate peony blossoms, executed in soft famille rose enamels. The porcelain body and decorative style are consistent with export wares of this period. The plate is in overall good condition, with one very small rim frit and minor wear to the gilding, consistent with age and use. Please study the photos carefully as part of the description.DimensionsDiameter: 23 cmConditionGood condition with one tiny rim chip.
