Late 16th / early 17th century carved wood figure of Salvator Mundi, possibly MechelenA rare devotional sculpture depicting Christ as Salvator Mundi, holding the orb of the world in His left hand. The figure is carved with flowing drapery and a deeply expressive face typical of Flemish workshop production, possibly Mechelen. The surface shows attractive age and a warm historic patina.Condition: Good condition for its age, with expected wear, Right arm missing. Base lost.
