Shadowman v2 is a series published by Acclaim Comics beginning in 1997. The original creative team was writer Garth Ennis and artist Ashley Wood. It is based on the previous Shadowman series published by Valiant Comics, rebooting that concept. The series concluded in 1998 after 20 issues.This is page 14 of the first issue, beautifully drawn by Ashley Wood. The new Shadowman, Zero, is in a bar looking at his teddy bear. Very nice scene where Zero is trying hard to remember his name and his past. Included in the photos is the published page, so you can do a comparison between the two. The original art had nice deep blacks. I do think the colored work does take away somewhat from the drama.At the bottom of the page, 'ARGHH' is spelled out in the margins. I can't guess why that is there.
