The Artifort Oyster chair, designed by Pierre Paulin in the late 1950s, is renowned for its distinctive organic shape and comfortable design. The “large” version, often referred to as the F157 model, features a wider and slightly taller seat compared to the standard model, providing enhanced comfort. This model typically measures approximately 83 cm in height, 89.5 cm in width, and 79.5 cm in depth, with a seat height of around 35.5 cm. The bent plywood shell is covered with foam and fabric and floats in a base of chrome-plated steel rods. Upholstered (good crisp condition, somewhat loose in seating area) is a grey, black checkered period fabric.Incredibly comfortable, also well-suited for taller people!This is a big chair.We always ship in a custom-made box or wooden crate, with full insurance coverage.No quick wrapping or flimsy boxes.
