To the right are Macedonian warriors, while in the background a fortified city with towers and a gateway rises above the scene.The composition is classically structured, with a clear visual distinction between the ruler and the captive noblewoman. The figures are monumental in scale and carefully arranged in balanced groups. Gestures play a crucial role in organizing the narrative: Alexander extends his hand in judgment, while Timoclea stands upright and composed, embodying dignity and self-control.
