Verenigde Staten van Amerika – Unique US Army Heartshield bulletproof bible – named 106th ID Golden Lions decorated Vet – Bulge – Militaire uitrusting – 1943

Exceedingly difficult to find - an original Heart Shield Bible, from 1943 when these shields were sold. This unique example is named to Chester A Anderson, born in 1917 and enlisted in early 1944. He would be assigned to the famous 106th Golden Lion Infantry Division. He is specifially mentioned in the unit's roster for seeing action in the Ardennes in december 1944. Some preliminary research is attached digitally; I dont know exactly his actions in this famous offensive because I have not time to do more research. His bible has his name and service number. his bible is in good and nice condition except for some wear; see photo's as they are part of the description. the cover has a beautiful patina.
