Nice 100% original ike jacket of Technician 4th Grade belonging to Warren J Felder, who served in the European Theatre of Operations with the ADSEC (Advance Section of the Communications Zone in the European theatre) and the 7th Army. He enlisted in 1943 and was born in 1924. He received the manual when he was still a Pvt, when he was serving with the 343 inf Reg. Later he was moved to another unit. Some research is attached digitally but needs to be done in more detail - I dont have the time unfortinately. His obituary also states he served throughout WW2. The ike jacket is in nicely worn condition and the overseas stripes (5, indicating >2,5 year overseas service), the owner must have seen action in France, Belgium and Germany. The ike jacket has a beautiful age patina and is not a depot piece. The label has been washed out through time but the size label is still there; 38 L. This is a nice large size! The fabric type and lining is typical for a 1944 manufacturing of the ike jacket (later ike jackets had a label near the collar, which this one never had, so 100% WW2.... lees verder bij Catawiki
